The wife of the Nigerian president, Aisha Buhari, has pleaded with private sectors and Nigerians in general to support Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Borno state and other affected parts of the country
With a view to helping the IDPs relocate home after spending two to three years in the camps, the wife of the president said: “to a lot of them its like starting life all over again and the little assistance from good natured citizens will go a long way in helping them to settle down and start life afresh.”
