Shocking: Gunmen Storm Beauty Pageant, Kidnap Mother And Son

 

 A female member of Caretaker Committee of Degema Local Council of Rivers state and her son have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Buguma headquarters of Asari Toru local government council while attending the Miss Buguma Beauty Pageant on Sunday, December 27.

Tonye Tiger, the Chairman of Caretaker Committee of Degema local government confirmed that a member of his caretaker Committee was abducted on Sunday and one person was arrested with the assistance of the members of the local Vigilante and transferred to State Criminal Intelligence Bureau (SCIB), in Port Harcourt for further interrogation.

He however said that the level of crimes and criminalities in the local Government area were very low during the Christmas and Boxing day.
