Man beheads his late son's corpse to sell

The Bauchi State Police Command today arrested a 25-year-old man named Maikudi Mohammed for exhuming the corpse of his late son and cutting off his head  in Misau Local LGA of Bauchi. Maikudi was arrested alongside his accomplice Damina Mohammed (26).

Confirming the incident, Police PRO Haruna Mohammed said:

"Preliminary investigation revealed that Suspect conspired with his accomplice, one Damina Mohammed, male, (26) of the same address, and went to a grave yard in Galambi village and removed the head of a male child corpse in order to sell it to their customer now at large.

"The principal suspect confessed that the child was his son who died and was buried but he later went back to the graveyard at night with his accomplice and exhumed it."
